If you’ve had enough of puzzling over so-called ‘flooring solutions’ then how about flooring that’s a puzzle in itself? We can’t think of a single child who wouldn’t adore these rugs, which are available through Unique Boutique. Both made from woollen felt (read: sumptuously soft, with a comfort factor to take your socks off for) these pieces each offer a slightly different take on the puzzle theme. The jigsaw rug is comprised of individual pieces, which you fit together so that the colours – lime and stone – are clustered, separated and positioned in whatever configurations take your fancy. Since all of the pieces can be completely separated, you can even assemble them to create smaller rugs, according to what your taste and floor space dictates.
If the cool and contemporary look of the jigsaw rug lacks a bit of the primary-coloured pizzazz that you desire in a child’s room, then the bright hues of the puzzle rug will be, well, both an answer and a puzzle in one.
